Lined curtains come in 2 main heading options; Pencil Pleat/Tape Top or Eyelet/Ring Top. When choosing your curtains take note of whether you have a curtain pole or a curtain track as this will determine which heading you require.

Pencil Pleat Curtains are easily identifiable with the scrunched top. To create this look, a band of fabric is threaded with string and sown to the top inside edge of each curtain. Small hooks can then be looped through the tape heading to attach the curtain to a pole or track. Pulling the cords on the header creates the scrunched up look which produces the signature pleats, and these can be altered to fit a slightly wider or narrow window. You can also vary the height of your curtain by three inches depending on where you place the hooks.

Eyelet Curtains consist of a row of metal eyelets (rings) across the top of the curtains. These rings result in the fabric to fall in soft, loose folds. This heading is seen as a modern and easy to use style. This type of curtain is only suitable for use with curtain poles, not tracks.

All our curtain sizes are listed as width x drop. We provide measurements in both inches and centimetres. Most lined curtains are sold as a pair however the measurements are per curtain panel. So, for example if you ordered size 46" width x 54" drop, you would receive two curtain panels each measuring 46 inches wide by 54 inches drop when laid out completely flat (before gathering). Therefore, it is always important to note how much gather you would like.
